Living Well #4 - Golden Form Casserole with Alina Poenaru - S1E4
Join Alina Poenaru as she demonstrates making the Golden Form Casserole.
2 Onions, chopped
3 shredded carrots
3 cups of corn
4 cups of cooked brown rice
2 tablespoons chicken style seasoning (or 1 tablespoon Vegeta Natur)
1 1/2 cup cashew cream (1 cup of cashews and 1 cup of water blended until creamy)
Saute the onions and carrots. Mic them in a bowl with corn, rice, and cashew cream and seasoning. Bake at 350 F for about 50 minutes until golden brown.
Serve with steamed veggies, cooked potatoes and white gravy.
3 cups of water
4 tablespoons onion powder
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 cup of cashews
2 tablespoons chicken style seasoning
2 tablespoons cornstarch dissolved in 3 tablespoons of water
Bring everything to a boil except cashews and corn starch. Blend cashews with 1 cup of water until creamy and smooth and add it to the boiling liquid. Thicken with cornstarch dissolved in cold water and stir until it is bubbling.
